Are you ready for another bb cushion review? :D
The newest cushion to my collection is from Sulwhasoo! I have always wanted to try out this brand but its just so expensive to buy from the UK! And now I've finally got my hands on this which I bought from Duty Free at Phuket airport!

Inside you get the BB Compact, 1 Refill packet and the information sheet.

The packaging for this is super pretty! <3
It's like a huge pearl in my hand (pearl is also used for its brightening properties!)

Inside includes the standard packaging design with a mirror and the puff.

The BB cushion pores are very small and even in size.

CONCLUSION:

If you have watched the video, you can basically tell just how great this bb cushion is first hand!
One of the most important factors that I didn't really emphasise in the video and that I LOVE about this cushion is that it Doesn't DRY MY SKIN OUT! I know it sounds weird, but omg..some bb cushions I have tried provided no hydration to my skin, and felt like they was sucking the water out of my face as the hours ticked by.. leaving me with a flaky, patchy face at the end of the night.. >:(

This has probably..replaced my beloved Laneige bb cushion which I loved so much.. *major gasp* It's definitely worth it though XD

So my first impressions of the brand SULWHASOO is 10/10! Wasn't expecting to love the first item I buy from the brand but I'm so glad that I did, because now I can see what else is worth the try! :p

Does anyone still read my blog?..

.. lol! Probably not!, but i'll write something anyway because I finally feel like I can sit back and just type to myself for once :)

Does anyone ever feel like they're overwhelmed with the amount of things they have to do in a day/week that they just don't know where to start??.. Well I've been feeling like that for quite a long while now and it's been hard to organise my thoughts and decide what to do first!

I've been married for a month now. WOW 1 month already, time really does fly! And a lot of things have changed; or are going to change in my life which I'm still preparing for. I'm currently on the hunt for a new property since we're Married now, and should probably live away from my mum.. (lol!) not that we or she mind, and she actually prefers our company, but I would realllyyyy like our own space again to just be our own little family; and theres just not enough room or privacy here. I am super grateful my mum has let us stay here for so long, but I'm totes ready for our next journey in marriage! :)

Looking for a new place also means moving Mini-Me to a new school! (eekkk).. SO not ready for that.. but the sooner the better I suppose?, since she will be starting full time school next September (OMG SHES ALL GROWN UP!! T__T).. so it's probably best to get her use to meeting new people and new environments. She is such a smart little girl, definitely gets those genes from me! :P, and to know she is going to primary school next year gives me the butterflies.. she's going to learn so much stuff and I can just imagine all the teachers telling her to be quiet because she is such a chatterbox! (She gets that from her dad!) Haha! But I hope she will keep being the same Talkative, Cheeky, Happy, Funny & Loud little girl I currently know cz that's her personality, and I don't want her to see her change and grow up so fast!

On top of all this, I have a new boss! Which I actually kind of like (so far, it's only been 1week!). I wonder if he's going to be those types of bosses that put on a fake image when they first start working, and then turn into full raging godzillas after a while and start shouting at everyone.. :/ Hopefully not though, I will be optimistic and say he is definitely going to be a nice boss. lol..

And this leaves me to my last thought!. YouTube.
I always find myself going round and round in circles with this little hobby of mine. I mean it's been 7years since I've uploaded my first ever video..! (omg...so long..) and I'm still doing it! I must really like this hobby since I'm still plastering my face on the internet for people to watch haha. However, I just can't seem to get focused on it.. maybe It was due to all the stresses of the wedding, pre-moving, mummy duties and all that shizzle that took up all my time. I am really hoping that when I finally move into a new place, I will have a dedicated area/extra room to turn into a little studio where I can fulfil this hobby of mine! Coz right now, sitting on the floor next to the tidiest corner I can find to record a video is a total mood kill and makes my video background look superrrr ugly... T__T

Well, that is all I have to say for now.
I think my brain is a bit fried atm from doing loads of research on what new camera to buy!!.. (still no clue! =.=)
Anyways, I hope you've enjoyed reading me babble! I'm off to get some beauty sleep now.

NEW!: L'Oreal Nude Magique BB Cushion

Hey Lovelies! Today I am finally back with a product review (yaay!) and it's on L'Oreal's newly released BB Cushion! :O Western companies are finally getting into the Cushion market and it's so exciting to see their approach on the item! 

I bought my cushion from Boots UK along with their new Sexy Balm, which I've shown in my latest YouTube video HERE. But today I am just showing you the cushion in this post :)

I bought the cushion in shade 01 - Porcelain

Similar packaging to Asian cushions apart from this has a white
sponge and not a blue one.

Lifting the cover reveals a sealed plastic layer that covers the cushion which you need to remove.

My immediate thoughts were that the cushion pores are really big compared to Asian cushions!

And the cushion is completely saturated with the foundation.. If you look on the left edge of the cushion, you can see the foundation leaking out slightly. Which may be due to Western brands not including a refill (which Asian brands do) so they have to fill it with more product i'm guessing?

This is one light press on the cushion.

The shade 01 is fair and quite neutral but more on the pink side and not too yellow, which is great for me. A small dab on the cushion picked up a lot of product! 

However, as you can tell from the image, the foundation is very 'wet' looking, and also has this wet/dewy finish on the face when applied (which is what this product is made to do since it is a "Dewy Glow Foundation").

The foundation gives a really nice natural glow after setting with a powder. If you don't set it, it looks suuuper dewy and luminous but feels a bit sticky on the skin. Here is a few selfies of Moi with the Magique BB! :)

If you want dewy cheeks, just set the T-Zone and leave the cheeks
to shine! :)

It does contain SPF 25 so it will have a slight white-cast.

CONCLUSION

I think the colour matched me pretty well, I got the lightest shade and there are 7 shades available at Boots. The foundation is also buildable for a medium-full coverage, but for my dry skin I tend to stick with only one layer, otherwise my dry patches will start to show up.

I don't think it's quite comparable to Asian BB Cushions.. I think L'Oreal have made a good attempt at it but it does need some improvements in my opinion, especially with the actual cushion inside the compact. It has very large pores and therefore you pick up way more product than needed, then you have to spread it all over your face before you can even start blending it in which can cause some patchiness.

And I know this product is formulated as a Dewy/Glowy foundation, however it does feel pretty sticky and wet on the skin.. and without powder I think this will definitely slip and slide and not hold up in warm humid conditions. Even after leaving the foundation on the skin for a while to try and let it settle in, it still felt slightly sticky.

Therefore..
I rate this product a 3/5!
I really like the colour range and the coverage of the foundation, but I just wish it was a different finish! 

I hope you all enjoyed this product review! I am looking forward to seeing if L'Oreal will release a matte or semi-matte version of this product which I will definitely buy! :D

The BEST DUPE of the Blender Solid Cleanser!

For as long as I can remember I have been using the 'Beauty Blender Cleanser Solid' soap to clean my brushes, cushions and sponges. Absolutely love the engravings on the soap!
