I had originally planned for a different activity for my birthday and even though that didn't work out, I still had an amazing time on my birthday with the best friends and family ever!! So thankful and grateful that they all took time off and travelled far just to spend time with me! ^__^

My Scheming:: BLACK PORE MASK

Firstly, I apologise for the rubbish picture quality!!.. read my Previous Blogpost! >__<

Not too long ago there was an online rave about this Amazing blackhead pore mask and after watching Suzi from stylesuzi on YouTube testing it on camera, I had to buy it to try!! I bought mine from ebay and it was only about 10pounds, so not expensive at all seeing as it was coming from Taiwan!

 

This is what the product looks like:

The contents include instructions (which i cannot read LOL), and 3 bottles of product.

They are labelled 1, 2 and 3 so you know which products to use in order.

HOW TO USE::

1. You apply no.1 all over your nose and let it soak in for about 10minutes. Leave this on and do not rinse off! 
2. Apply the black mask (no.2) all over the areas you wish to remove blackheads from. I only applied it onto my nose, but you can do your forehead and chin if you need to. Wait for the mask to dry COMPLETELY. If you try to peel it off before it is dry, it won't work as effectively (i did this =_=). 
3. After you take the mask off, rinse off the excess and then apply no.3 all over the areas you put on the mask, and let that soak in before you continue with your skincare! :)

I applied a thick layer all over my nose and let it dry before peeling.

My camera quality is shocking..so i've included a few of the results to let you guys see.

CONCLUSION::

If you can see from the images...the pore mask didn't really manage to pull out anything?? It has a lot of dimples which is just the texture of my nose and where my pores are, but nothing as crazy as the results i saw on StyleSuzi's youtube video! I had very tinyyyy little whiteheads and that was about it. I guess this is a good thing since it means my nose is relatively clean! :D I do think its all due to the Foreo LUNA that I use consistently everyday as a part of my cleansing routine! :)

GUTTED.. :(

Hello everyone!, its been super long since I have posted anything on here..

Nothing really special has happened, I guess I was just lazy with everything and not feeling very inspired to do much to my blog/YT! And on top of that...my camera is BROKEN!! T__T
I have no idea what happened to it?, but I can't record anything or take pictures anymore... So not really sure what i'm going to do about that situation since I can't really afford another decent camera at this moment.. :(
There was so much I wanted to do as well! I considered using my old camera, however when I tested the quality, it just won't be good enough...and its slightly broken as well (LOL me and technology are not good friends..) so the image always appears kind of blurry?? Also tried using my S4 camera, but that is even worse Lol! Sigh... I think I will just have to blog until whenever I get a new camera? >__<

But apart from that, life has been great! Getting back into my normal routine since I've been travelling up and down a lot between my house and my in-laws these past two weeks. I have also started taking Maca Root capsules this week and I think it is actually showing quite positive results!
I have been feeling less drained and more productive and just generally more energetic,  Big+++!
Look up maca root and its benefits if you have low energy levels, mood swings, low libido etc, this supplement claims to help these factors! :)

Well, thats my update for now guys!, Super bummed about the camera but hopefully that will get fixed soon!

Tropical World LEEDS! | 17/07/15

Short hair lifeeee!

I have had long hair for as long as I can remember now~!, I rarely get it cut just because I haven't found a salon that does exactly what I ask them to...so I don't have much confidence when I go for haircuts.. But for the past month I have been super annoyed with my hair because it was so long, it took me ages to wash and dry and it looked dull and lifeless.. so i decided to get it cut!

I went to a local hairdressers in my town called Mitchell Phillips as I read many reviews on their Facebook page from their clients saying how they loved their new cuts! They were also fully booked on many days so I felt more confident to go to them since so many people were booking with them! Anyway, I'm just going to show you guys what my hair looks like before and after.. :)

~BEFORE~

Long length, long layers, not much shape.

My hair was down to my lower back.. =O

~AFTER HAIRCUT WITH A BLOWDRY~

Medium length, lots of short layers, plenty of texture.

Cut off about 3-4inches of hair! Haven't had it this short in a while...

~AFTER I WASHED MY HAIR~

Medium length, hair looks thicker due to short layers/

~HOW I LIKE TO STYLE IT~

I used a hair straightener to create soft wavy curls for more texture and shape.

L'Oreal Prodigy Hair Dye - 9.0 Ivory

I recently bought a new hair dye, which i posted on my instagram and it was the new L'Oreal Prodigy Hair dye. This hair dye incorporates Micro Oil Technology which creates more tones within the hair; as it states on the box, "more highs & lows". This hair dye is a permanent hair dye, and it is the first time I have used a permanent home dye as I usually go for the 28wash out ones, so I had no idea how it would affect my hair. 

I got the shade '9.0 IVORY' which is a light beige blonde. I usually go for blonde dyes during the summer because I want lighter hair. This one didn't have the word 'ash' or 'frosted' so I was a bit worried it might come out ginger... 

BEFORE DYEING HAIR

This is what my hair looked like before I dyed it.. 

The colour changes in different lighting (which is pretty obvious) so I have a picture near the window, and one at the back of the room. 

A description of my previous hair would be: 3inches of dark brown/black roots and medium brown down the length of my hair. 

I didn't wash my hair for 3 days to let my natural oils protect my scalp during the dyeing process.

AFTER DYEING HAIR

This last picture of my hair is pretty similar to the first image I posted at the top.. So there isn't much colour change tbh! 

The after colour is more warmer and my hair is one colour now, no dark roots yay! 

The colour is quite reflective and changes with movement...some hair dyes make your hair really flat and one colour. But this one gives a more natural look!

The only CON about this hair dye is that it has made my hair quite dry and feels like hay... 

Not sure whether its because its a permanent dye or just this one specifically, but i've never experienced it before with any other L'Oreal home dyes.
